Scholarship Options
VETERAN AND MILITARY FAMILIES SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available for qualifying Veterans and military family members who will attend Code Platoon.
ACTIVE DUTY SCHOLARSHIPS
Code Platoon provides transitioning Servicemembers with an opportunity to develop in-demand job skills while still serving. Active duty Servicemembers in the SkillBridge program can use their last six months of active duty to participate in Code Platoon’s Immersive programs and may qualify to receive an Active Duty Scholarship up to the full cost of tuition. BLACK AND HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Our goal at Code Platoon is to help make a career in software engineering accessible to all underrepresented groups and contribute to diversifying the technology workforce. Black and Hispanic Scholarships are available for qualifying Veterans, Servicemembers, and military families in each cohort. Each scholarship is valued at up to the full cost of tuition.
WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIPS
This scholarship is awarded to qualifying women Veterans, Servicemembers, and military family members in honor of Rear Admiral Grace Hopper. Each Women in Technology Scholarship is valued at up to the full cost of tuition. “We know that women only make up about 25% of IT roles. Code Platoon is committed to creating more access and opportunities for Veteran women engineers. This scholarship reaffirms that commitment,” says Rodrigo Levy, Executive Director, Code Platoon.
TRANSGENDER VETERAN SCHOLARSHIPS
This scholarship is awarded to qualifying transgender Veterans or military family members. Each Transgender Veteran Scholarship is valued at up to the full cost of tuition. “At Code Platoon, we are extremely proud that we are absolutely egalitarian, where every student has an equal opportunity to succeed. Our Transgender Veteran Scholarships are an opportunity to provide access to our training program for this underrepresented group,” says Rodrigo Levy, Executive Director, Code Platoon.
CODE PLATOON IS GI BILL® APPROVED FOR ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
The Regional Transportation Authority may also cover transportation if you are a Veteran.
