Discover Your Path to Software Engineering with Code Platoon
Our Full Stack Software Engineer: Evening & Weekend program features the same curriculum as our Full-stack: Immersive program — learning by and for Veterans, expert instruction from industry pros, Beyond Tech curriculum, and a strong community, including 500+ graduates and industry professionals.— but on a schedule that allows you to keep your daytime commitments.
Evening & Weekend students attend classes remotely three nights per week and all day on Saturday for 28 weeks.
Students receive hands-on learning with Python, Django, JavaScript, React.js, Postgres, and SQL, along with REST API design and user authentication. The curriculum emphasizes agile development, TDD, and Git for version control while enabling students to deploy applications on AWS and Docker.
We have integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) training throughout our curriculum, ensuring that you understand its importance alongside core software engineering skills. You will learn prompt engineering and the judicious use of AI tools, balancing efficiency with a strong understanding of fundamentals.
The program is open to all Veterans, military spouses, and transitioning
Servicemembers. Evening and Weekend program students with eligibility can use GI Bill to cover program costs. Some students may qualify for VR&E or our robust scholarship programs.
THE DETAILS
Live Evening classes three days per week, one day on the weekend
Classes meet remotely on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM CST and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Students must be available during these periods each week for the duration of the 28-week program.

Funding options available
Based on eligibility, students may qualify to use the GI Bill or VR&E to cover program costs. Scholarships are also available for those who qualify.

Our Full-stack Software Engineering: Evening & Weekend students receive the same industry-leading curriculum as our Immersive students. All Code Platoon students learn Python and JavaScript, establishing a solid foundation in software engineering.
